Prof. Mohanbir Sawhney

Prof. Mohanbir Sawhney is a management consultant, author and the McCormick Tribune Professor of Technology at the Kellogg School of Management. He advises 25 companies about their e-commerce strategies. His research work are published in leading journals like California Management Review, Harvard Business Review, Journal of Interactive Marketing, Journal of Product Innovation Management, Management Science, Marketing Science, MIT Sloan Management Review, and Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science. He is a Fellow of the World Economic Forum and was named as one of the top 5 professors at Kellogg in 2008 and 2009. He has been awarded the 2006 Sidney Levy Award for Teaching Excellence at the Kellogg School and has been recognized as an outstanding professor of the year at Kellogg in 1998. Business Week named him as one of the 25 most influential people in e-Business and Crain’s Chicago Business named him a member of “40 under 40”, a select group of young business leaders in the Chicago area. He was awarded the 2005 runner-up for Best Paper in the Journal of Interactive Marketing.
